Daddy Daughter Dinner/Dance - 2/26

Western Celebration! Dads bring your daughter(s) and join us for some fun in a Western-environment. Put on your Western attire and enjoy an evening full of dinner, entertainment, and some square dancing. A souvenir photo will provide lasting memories of the night.

Youth Cooking for 5-8 Year Olds - 1/23 - 2/27

Join us in creating delicious recipes. We will cover recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Your child will practice reading recipes, preparing for food and cleaning up. There will be time for safety in the kitchen and eating their creations.

Youth Sports

Youth Volleyball Classes
This energized co-ed program teaches you the fundamentals of how to play volleyball.  Classes are taught by collegiate volleyball stars.  Classes are on Tuesdays at the Sachs Recreation Center between 4:00 and 7:00pm for boys and girls in 1st through 8th grade.  Program begins January 3rd. Self-Defense Training
It is very important to feel safe when you are and about.  One way to insure your safety is by taking our self-defense class.  This class is for women and men ages 8 and up.  This is not a martial art, no previous training is required and the techniques are easy to learn.  This class will save your life.  This class meets on Monday November 9 from 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Sachs Recreation Center.  For more information please call Jim at 847-572-2627.

 


Fit 4 Kids
The original kid’s fitness program.  We get kids moving and show them that fitness can be fun!!!  We play fun games that will not only give kids a great workout but, will also let them have fun while learning something at the same time.  Classes are for kids ages 3 to 5.   There are three sections offered in the Winter session, Mondays 9:30 to 10:30am, Wednesdays 1:00 to 2:00pm and Tuesdays 9:30 to 10:30am.  For more information please call Jim at 847-572-2627.

Open Swim / Family Swim at Sachs Recreation Center Indoor Pool

Everyone is invited “Into the Pool!” on weekend afternoons, year-round. Bring the whole family for a refreshing dip! Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Lifeguards are on duty. Additional hours may be added during holidays. Call 847-572-2600 for more information.

Location: Sachs Recreation Center
Days: Saturdays and Sundays;  Times: 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
Fees: SRC Members: Free; Children of Members: $3 each; Non-Member Individual: $4 ea.;
Non-Member Family: $8
