Safety Town
Activity #421601 (Summer)

In Safety Town, children will gain an awareness of safety measures under the guidance of our experienced instructors, along with our own police and fi re department representatives. They will role play “real life” situations and learn how to react. They are trained to distinguish between what is safe and unsafe, and will learn what to do when danger exists. Topics include street, bus, playground and house safety; fi eld trip safety; railroad and animal dangers; poisons; strangers; fi re safety and how to use the telephone in an emergency. We will provide a snack at each class and have some playtime too. Note: if your child has taken a summer safety town or a seasonal session, please do NOT sign up for this session as the material is repetitive.
