Getting ready for an upcoming wedding? Dying to rhumba the night away? Have the urge to create your own personal statement in clay, acrylic, or oil? The Deerfield Park District has the class for you!

Wedding Workshop

Learn to dance to Ballroom, Big Band, Latin , slow and contemporary dance mussic. This crash course includes: leading, following, traveling turns, and movement. This is perfect for anyone that is in or going to a wedding!  Waltz, Swing, Cha Cha, contemporary and the lost art or slow dancing will be taught.

Ballroom Dance

Dancing is not only fun, but it can keep you in great shape! Improve your ballroom dancing skills, learn new steps, and find out how to lead and follow. You'll learn or improve your Fox Trot, Waltz, Swing, Lindy Hop, Rhumba and Tango in ths enjoyable class. It is time to stop envying all those wonderful dancers you see on the dance floor and become one yourself.

Spicy Salsa/Latin Dance

Come join the fun and excitement of Latin dance steps. Learn how to Mambo, Cha Cha, Samba, Merengue, Rhumba and Salsa. We will go over the basic: how to lead and follow, dips, spins and other fancy tricks.

Ceramics Adult

Learn the fundamentals of hands building and throwing as well as the use of glazes to create decorative ceramic pieces such as clocks, bowls, wall hangings and other projects that you will enjoymaking. Some wheel trainig will be included. The only limit is your imagination.

Silberman Art Studio

Elaine Silberman brings her warm, nurturing teaching style to this adult beginning art program. This class will introduce you to the sheer joy of creating. You will learn basic drawing techniques and use a wide variety of media: charcoal, pencil and watercolors.
