Level I Swim LessonsThis is a special class for toddlers who are ready to start swimming instruction without a parent present. The students will start at this level and progress through swimming skills in small groups with an instructor. Best for children with little to no previous instruction or who are uncomfortable fully submerging their face and who cannot front or back float without support. Some of the skills students will work on include but not limited to:
| 10 Bounces chest deep |
| Bubble blowing |
| Fully submerged face for 3 seconds |
| Supported front float |
| Supported back float |
| Supported front kick |
| Supported back kick |
| Walk 5 yards in chest deep water |
| Walk 5 yards chest deep with alternating arms |
| Enter water without assistance |
| Exit water without assistance |
| Discuss basic water safety rules |
| Discuss how to get help |
