Early Childhood > Parent & Tot Tiny Treks
Activity #120008 (Fall) / #220008 (Winter) / #320008 (Spring)
Tiny Treks is for families who want to teach their children about the world through exploration of their natural surroundings. Parents and children take short, stimulating hikes in a variety of outdoor settings. Fun activities include chasing butterflies in a meadow, kite flying on top of a hill, exploring animal tracks in a forest, and visiting nature preserves or farms. Other activities incorporate music, art, movement and games. We believe children learn best through hands-on experiences which build self-esteem and encourage a love of nature. Our instructors are creative, loving, and energetic. Tiny Treks meets between five and fifteen minutes from Deerfield. An information guide with each location will be mailed before the class begins. Fee includes a $20 material fee. Please include e-mail address on registration form!
